Our daughter, Chloe Hill-Huse, April 23, 2002 played with CW U14 last season and is very excited to try out for the Girls U 16 Tide Team. Is there anything we need to know – other than just showing up on June 6 & 7?

Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, those are the tryout days for that age grade and then training sessions will follow the weeks leading up to the PRC’s. If you have any other questions please email info@tiderugby.com.

Hi Trish, We now have our registration package up on the site. So please have your daughter bring a completed package when she comes to trials. The form can be found on the TEAMS page under U16 Girls.

Hi, I am turning 16 in march and would like to play on the team, but I live in Nanaimo. Is there still a possibility that I can play or try out for the team?

Yes – it depends. The North Island should have a regional team like this called ‘Tsunami’. If there is no team for your age grade (such as in U14 girls), there may be a possibility of you joining up with one of the South Island teams.
